Google Analytics lässt sich in Wordpress natürlich auch OHNE Plugin integrieren. Die Verwendung von speziellen Plugins kann jedoch folgende Vorteile bringen:
- Kein editieren im Code
- Keine Bindung an ein Theme
- Meist bessere Kontrolle über DSGVO-Anforderungen
- Meist mehr/einfache Möglichkeiten zusätzliche Daten an GA zu übertragen
- Ggf Darstellung der Besucherstatistiken direkt in Wordpress
